On a cloudy day the sun shone on Kevin Harvick Sunday. Harvick did what he had to do leading the most laps and finally closing the deal by winning the NASCAR Sprint Cup series AAA 400 at Dover International Speedway. It was his first win since March and his third of the season and came on a day filled with drama.
The win comes a week after Harvick led the most laps at New Hampshire Motor Speedway only to run out of fuel and fall outside the cutoff to advance to the next round in the Chase. He came to Dover needing a win and was the class of the field Sunday scoring his 31st career win.
“Obviously, we weren’t in a great position coming it to today,” Harvick said. MORE>>>
