Johnson pranks 78 team, 78 team however delivers the last burn

A week after Jimmie Johnson took out Martin Truex Jr. coming to the checkered flag at the end of the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Roval race at Charlotte taking both out of contention for the win and Johnson out of the playoffs, Johnson pranked the 78 team at Dover.

The 48 and 78 were battling for the win when Johnson’s Chevy wheel hopped over a curb and spun collecting the 78.

After last week’s race, crew chief for the Furniture Row Racing team Cole Pearn suggested, somewhat tongue in cheek, that Johnson–an avid biker– buy the entire crew road bikes. MORE>>>
