Jeffrey Earnhardt, grandson of NASCAR legend Dale Earnhardt Sr., will make his Nationwide debut with the team owned by his uncle Dale Earnhardt Jr., JR Motorsports, April 26 at Richmond International Raceway.
The team made the announcement via a video on the team website Thursday morning. Earnhardt has made 14 starts in the Nationwide series and 10 in the Camping World Truck Series but none have been with teams associated with his famous family. His best finish in the Nationwide series came at Daytona in July of 2011. His best finish in the Truck Series also came at Daytona on the same weekend when he finished 7.
