Kyle Busch left Daytona International Speedway in February in an ambulance.  Sunday night he left Sonoma Raceway as a NASCAR Sprint Cup series race winner.

Only five races after returning to competition, Busch scored his first win of the season Sunday. The win came on what many felt would be his toughest track, the road course at Sonoma . Busch who missed the 11 races in the first part of the season after crashing headlong into a concrete wall at the season opening Xfinity Series race at Daytona and breaking his leg and foot, won the NASCAR Sprint Cup series Toyota/Save Mart 350 holding off his older brother Kurt for an emotional win.

“This is awesome – it’s unbelievable,” Busch said.MORE>>>
