Nothing can replace the feeling of being behind the wheel of a well-oiled machine, and while many of us don’t have the privilege of owning a race car, we can still enjoy watching others burn rubber on the tracks. There’s just something about the adrenaline that you get from racing that’s almost impossible to achieve with other activities, but luckily, a few come close. If you’re a big fan of racing, then there’s a big chance you’re also a big fan of racing games. Sure, playing them isn’t the same as real racing, but these next few games come pretty close.
Car Themed Slots
With online casinos on the rise, it’s not surprising to see a new batch of exciting slots make it into the world. The best thing about this for racing fans is arguably the many car-themed slots that offer top-notch gameplay. These action-packed games coupled with the excellent bonuses and promotions that online casinos run are more than enough to get your blood pumping. One of our favorite racing-inspired slots is Monster Wheels by Microgaming, and you can signup here to play it and loads of other games at Casimba.
Mario Kart
It might seem a bit silly when you look at it from the outside, but there’s a reason why Mario Kart is one of the most popular games of all time. This iconic classic has had quite a few iterations over the years, and all of them have managed to sweep the competition under the rug and come out on top. Other than the excellent gameplay that involves more than a few tricks up its sleeve, we’re treated to a cast of loveable characters that never fail to give us a feeling of nostalgia. Nintendo always seems to know what it’s doing, so when in doubt, Mario Kart should be your go-to.
Need for Speed
Here’s another classic that’s managed to uphold a solid reputation over the years. While not all of the games from the Need for Speed series have received widespread success, the majority of them are still immensely enjoyable. If you’re looking for a throwback to the old days, you can give the fan-favorite Need for Speed: Most Wanted a shot. The game holds up surprisingly well to this day and sports a collection of cars that are 100% drool-worthy. The newer games in the series are also top-notch, and you can even find a few of them available on mobile!
Asphalt 9: Legends
While the Asphalt game series has received a lot of success on multiple gaming platforms, it’s taken a new stride on mobile with Asphalt 9: Legends. The Asphalt games on mobile have been favorites among both Android and iOS users for the last couple of years. Unlike a lot of the other racing games on mobile, Asphalt 9: Legends sports incredible graphics that no one could have expected from a mobile game. The game’s also recently been launched for the Nintendo Switch where it had a mixed reception, but we don’t doubt it will improve soon.
