In a stunning late-night post that sent the NASCAR Twittersphere into DEFCON 2, Kyle Larson tweeted the following on Monday:
“Let’s get it.”
Within minutes, fans were dissecting the tweet with the intensity of a Daytona wreck review. Was he hinting at a new team? A switch to Formula 1? A shocking musical collaboration with Jelly Roll?
One fan theorized that the “it” in question could be “a new approach to stage racing.” Another believes it’s “code for retiring to become a full-time dirt farmer.”
Larson has not clarified the tweet, which only deepens the mystery. Sources close to the situation (i.e. people on Reddit) claim Larson also posted a photo of a steering wheel earlier this year — and now this.
As for Larson himself? He showed up to the next race and… raced.
