F1 champion Fernando Alonso and NASCAR champion Jimmie Johnson will stage a car swap a day after the season ending F1 race in Abu Dhabi. The swap will happen at the Bahrain International Circuit on Nov. 26
The event was teased four months ago by the drivers on their respective Twitter accounts. Friday the event was confirmed on the same channels.
Former F1 champion Juan Pablo Montoya and retired NASCAR champion Jeff Gordon swapped cars at Indy in 2009, and reigning F1 champion Lewis Hamilton and retired NASCAR’s Tony Stewart did the same at Watkins Glen in 2011.
