1952: Tim Flock outruns his brother Fonty to win a 100-lap main event at Occoneechee Speedway in Hillsborough, N.C., posting the third win of an eight-win season that culminated in his first NASCAR title. Dick Rathman finished third behind the brothers as the last car on the lead lap on the mile dirt track.
