Travis Pastrana returning to NASCAR for one race

Action sports icon Travis Pastrana is returning to NASCAR it was announced Wednesday. Pastrana, an 11-time X Games gold medalist will compete in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series event October 3 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.  The 31-year old competed in NASCAR for two years, from 2011-2013. He raced a full season in the NASCAR Xfinity series in 2013 for Roush-Fenway Racing scoring four top 10 finishes in 33 starts along with one pole.

Pastrana announced at the end of the 2013 season that he would leave NASCAR citing a lack of sponsorship. He began experimenting in NASCAR in 2011 season competing in several races in the K&N Series. MORE>>>
