1996: Mark Martin holds off Jack Sprague by .78 seconds to win the Lowe’s 250, the final NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at North Wilkesboro (N.C.) Speedway. Martin started second in a Jack Roush-owned Ford and led the final 73 of 250 laps in his first victory in the series. Butch Miller finished third with Kenny Wallace and Joe Ruttman completing the top five at the .625-mile track.
