The Pocono 400: Walmart putting you in the driver’s seat

If you didn’t have enough fun being at the driver for the Sprint Unlimited February 16th, Walmart is now giving you the chance to do it again; this time for the Pocono 400.

As a fan, who will able to vote on the race’s official name and a signature concession and pace car design. All you will have to do to get your two-cents in is get on Walmart’s Facebook page. That’s where you can vote and submit your ideas.

Yes, it’s not all about checking marking a box. You can actually put your brain to work on this one. Voting has already started, and will last until March 27th. So get on it, don’t miss your chance.

There is a timeline to when you will want vote for each category. Don’t fret though. I am going to give you the information in an easy to comprehend list. If you look below you will see it.

Race Name Submission: Feb.14th- 25th

Race Name Vote : March 11th- April 8th

Concession Item: April 4th- May 6th

Pace Car Design : May 6th- May 27th

See? I told you I would. So take a breath and grab some wine, or a beer, and relax.

Now, I know you are already overly excited about this, ready to launch fireworks, start the grill and throw a party; but just hold on a second there. I have even more amazing news for you.

Walmart is also going to make the Pocono race more affordable. They are offering 16,000 concourse Grandstand Tickets at the discounted price of $25. Yeah…I know! $25 sounds unreal, but oh it is real, and you can snatch one of those tickets online at Walmart.com/NASCAR or poconoraceway.com.

That is not all.

The Walmart Family Track Pack is also going to be available again this year. So just because you have a budget, it doesn’t mean you can’t make it out to a track.

For $99 dollars, the Family Track Pack provides you with four tickets to a race, 4 drinks and 4 hotdogs. That’s pretty awesome. So if you have a family of four, no one needs to stay behind. If you have a family of five, my heart breaks for the unlucky soul who will be left behind. (I hope you know I am just kidding.)
