CONCORD NC. – Joey Logano had never led more than 20 laps in all of his 13 starts at Charlotte Motor Speedway.  That all changed Sunday however as Logano led a race high 227 of 334 laps to win the rain-delayed NASCAR Sprint Cup Bank of America 500.

Logano took the lead for the final time on lap 298 after a cycle of green flag pit stops kept him ahead of his closest pursuer on the day Kevin Harvick.  Logano never looked back beating the defending series champion by .703 seconds. Harvick, Martin Truex Jr. was third, Denny Hamlin fourth and Kurt Busch fifth.

“We had a great car,” Logano said.MORE>>>>
