Kurt Busch turns laps on F1 track

Kurt Busch became the first driver to turn laps in a NASCAR Sprint Cup car at the Circuit of The Americas track in Austin Texas Tuesday.

Busch in a Gen-6 Chevy turned the first laps for a NASCAR racecar on the 3.4-mile purpose-built Grand Prix racetrack as part of a media day in advance of Australian V8 Supercars debut in America with the Austin 400 race May 17-19.

After taking laps with his Chevy SS in the morning Busch traded rides and notes with Australian V8 Supercars racing star James Courtney (2010 V8 Supercars Champion) and his custom-wrapped Circuit of The Americas V8 Supercars Chevrolet SS. MORE>>>
