Danica Patrick to go dirt racing

Danica Patrick will be part of the Prelude to the Dream a charity event staged at Eldora Speedway in June.

The Speedway is owned by Tony Stewart, who fields cars for Patrick in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series. The Prelude to the Dream is in its eighth year. This year’ event will be held on Wednesday June 6th with proceeds going to Feed The Children.

Patrick is in her first full year in NASCAR competing in the full Nationwide schedule and part time Sprint Cup series.

Patrick will join a collection of 17 other drivers from various racing disciplines who will race late model modifieds on the ½ mile dirt track outside Rossburg Ohio.

According to Patrick though, this will not be the first time she has race on dirt. MORE>>>
