Newly crowned NASCAR XFINITY Series champion Chris Buescher will move up to the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series fulltime in 2016 with Front Row Motorsports. Roush Fenway Racing announced the move Thursday while adding that RFR will have an enhanced technical alliance with the Front Row team and will provide engineering, equipment and driver support.

In addition to Buescher behind the wheel of the No. 34 Front Row Ford Fusion in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series during the 2016 season the team will have full engineering and pit support from Roush Fenway. Buescher will be taking over the No. 34 for Brett Moffitt who competed for much of 2015 for Front Row.

David Ragan, who had raced for the team before, returned to Front Row Motorsports in 2015. However Ragan chose to leave Front Row Motorsports after the Daytona 500 to substitute for the injured Kyle Busch. He finished the season racing for Michael Waltrip Motorsports, which ceased operations at the end of the season. MORE>>>
