Brian Vickers meets with the media at Martinsville

Brian Vickers met with the media Sunday prior to the NASCAR Sprint Cup series race at Martinsville Speedway. The meeting came only two weeks after the team announced that Vickers would miss the rest of the NASCAR after a doctor discovered a small blood clot in the calf region of Vickers right leg.

Vickers was hospitalized in 2010 after suffering chest pains. He was hospitalized and diagnosed with blood clots in his legs and near his lung. He was forced to miss the rest of the 2010 season.
