Tony Stewart returned to Las Vegas in triumphant fashion Tuesday. When the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series raced at Las Vegas Motor Speedway in March, Stewart finished in the runner-up position; Tuesday he returned as the Series champion.
This marks the first time three time champion Stewart has celebrated his title in Vegas. His previous season ending celebrations for his titles in 2002 and 2005 were observed in New York.
“There’s so much to do here in Las Vegas,” said Stewart. “It’s the perfect place to have the year-end celebration. I look forward to having everyone from the Stewart-Haas Racing team, Office Depot and Mobil 1 here on Thursday night and spending some time with them.” MORE>>>
