The NASCAR baby boom of 2010 appears to be nearly over.
Daytona 500 and Brickyard 400 winner Jamie McMurray and wife Christy became the latest parents as they welcomed their new son Carter Scott McMurray into the world on Thanksgiving. Carter was 7lbs 12oz and 20′ long. The baby is part of a mini-baby boom at McMurray’s team Earnhardt-Ganassi Racing as Carter makes the eighth baby born to members of the team this year.
McMurray’s teammate Juan Pablo Montoya was among those as he and wife Connie added a third child.
It’s also the latest addition to the NASCAR driver family. Last week Ryan and Krissie Newman announced the arrival of their first child Brooklyn Sage Newman. MORE>>>
