Ron Hornaday was having a good day. After starting on the pole for Saturday’s NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Mountain Dew 250, Hornaday was leading his first laps ever at the 2.66 mile oval.
A week after he won for the first time at Martinsville, NASCAR’s shortest track, Hornaday looked to be in a great position to win at NASCAR’s longest track for the first time in his career. With only three laps to go however, disaster struck.
While charging through the tri-oval, rookie Grant Enfinger tapped Todd Bodine from behind sending him into a spin. Bodine then careened into Mike Skinner and the chaos began.MORE>>>
