Kurt Busch is quickly asserting himself as a legitimate contender for the 2010 NASCAR Sprint Cup crown.
A week after scoring his first win at Charlotte Motor Speedway in the NASCAR All Star Race, Busch dominated the Coca-Cola 600 leading 252 of the 400 laps in route to his 22nd career victory.
Busch won the race off pit road after the final caution period and was able to charge past Jeff Gordon and Mark Martin and maintain a lead over eventual second place finisher Jamie McMurray.
“To have a car to run that well last Saturday night on the short runs and to have a car today to make the long runs was awesome,” Busch said. “This team deserves it. It’s a special fete to win the All-Star race and the 600. It’s just a fantastic day for all of our employees, all of our associates and Miller Lite of course and for Dodge. With this Dodge program, we’re going strong.”MORE–>>
