With the suspension of Jeremy Mayfield, NASCAR has attempted to move on…
This is puzzling to us all, but maybe this is why…
If Jeremy did consume Claritin D24 and it did pop positive on this drug test, NASCAR would take Dr. Black at face value and suspend Jeremy.
However, after further research it is possible for Claritin D24 to pop a drug test with a false positive result and now NASCAR has a huge dilemma, as Claritin is a NASCAR Sponsor that contributes to the monetary assets of the sport.

Who would have thought that Claritin would contain ingredients that have been proven to present false positive results?
Personally, I have to laugh as I watch NASCAR “ignore” this call to suspend Jeremy due to the almighty dollar that Claritin has brought to their bank account.
The American way…He with the most dollars shall win every battle brought to his doorstep. Maybe Carl Edwards should volunteer to undergo a drug test from Dr. Black since he takes Claritin…All in favor…leave your comments below!
