News of Todd Parrott’s departure from Yates Racing appears to have been premature.
Parrott reportedly will stay with the organization as crew chief for the No. 28 Ford. His brother, Brad Parrott, wasn’t as fortunate. Cully Barraclough, crew chief for David Gilliland in 2008, is leaving Yates Racing to take a job as car chief for the No. 26 Ford driven by Jamie McMurray. Donnie Wingo, most recently with Ganassi, takes over from Larry Carter as crew chief for McMurray, as Carter moves to Yates as crew chief for Paul Menard’s No. 98 Ford.
