To say it was Austin Dillon’s day is putting it mildly.  Dillon led from the pole, Saturday and went on to lead 163 of 200 laps to win the NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

Dillon retook the lead from Denny Hamlin on lap 186 and from there was able to stretch the lead out crossing the line 2.5 seconds ahead of second place.  Leading from the start, Dillon a former series champion who now competes in the NASCAR Sprint Cup series only lost the lead during green flag pit stops and at one point enjoyed a nearly five second lead.
