Suspended NASCAR driver AJ Allmendinger has made his first comments since being sanctioned by NASCAR for failing a random drug test at Kentucky Speedway.

Allmendinger was informed of the temporary suspension last Saturday at Daytona International Speedway only hours before the start of the Coke Zero 400. The Penske team was forced to fly in driver Sam Hornish Jr., to sub.

Since the suspension Allmendinger has remained silent, until Tuesday when he released a statement. MORE>>>
