Denny Hamlin was released Monday from UAB Hospital in Birmingham, Ala., after spending the night there for observation following a crash Sunday at Talladega Superspeedway.

--(Cont'd From Front Page)-- Hamlin was shaken up on Lap 99 when he lost his right-front tire in Turn 2, slid up the track and made heavy contact with the SAFER barrier. He was the race leader at the time.
